It all started with a house... I decided to make one of my childhood dreams come true for my sweet daughter, Miss Matilda Babe, I built her a dollhouse. It was within the walls of this dollhouse that Matilda Babe and company was born. Matilda Babe and Co. is a collective creative platform of my artistic and professional endeavors as of late.  From food and prop styling to interior and set design to photography and dollhouses, this is a collection of my work and what has driven and inspired my creative eye. I am Julie Johnson, the Founder of Matilda Babe and Co. I am a designer, creative director, vintage stylist, content contributor, retired store owner, creative spirit, photo stylist and merchant of marvels. I am best known for my fresh and intuitive approach to projects for print, television and online media. My creative contributions have been featured in a variety of national commercials and interiors publications. It is likely you have also seen my handiwork on television, in advertising campaigns, online, and of course on Instagram.
